Speaker:John Cwaygel, the proprietor of Sailfin. John will be giving a talk about Ehiem products and discuss the pros/cons of canister filtration for aquaria. | Plant Sciences Lab |

Speaker: Jim Sternburg on successfully raising Java Fern, followed by open discussion. Also the bowl show resumes. Things that qualify for this month are "fish - plants - equipment. If you have something to show bring it to the meeting. |

Jim
Wuersch, the Aquatics Grower at Prairie Gardens will be giving a
presentation on the topic of common aquatic plants. This is going to be
a general overview and will include propagation methods and proper way
to divide plants as well. The presentation is going to begin at 3:30pm.
You can stop at the main information desk to find out exactly where his
presentation will be given. If you have an interest in Water Gardens
this would be a great opportunity to see the Aquatics Greenhouse and
pick up a few new plants as well. Come early to browse around and see
what they have. |

CAFE Picnic at the Nixon's. Plan to arrive around 4pm and to
eat about 5:30pm. The club will provide drink and meat (chicken and
brats) and if possible all should bring a dish to pass. |

Speaker: Phil Nixon, and the topic of discussion is " Tips on Growing Plants" Doors open at 6:45pm with the meeting to begin at 7pm |

speaker this month is Jim Sternberg. Jim will be giving a slide
presentation on the topic of Darters. Jim has kept 12 different species
and will discuss the keeping of these neat native fish in aquaria. |
