programs you would like to see, etc. General fish talk also. And Mark Mitchell will give a presentation in which he will perform surgery on a (noble) goldfish. Membership dues are due, so you can pay at the meeting, if you haven't already done so. |

Program: There's a Killifish for Everyone, by Scott Davis. Scott has been keeping wetland creatures since the continents had a different configuration. There is seldom a fish he doesn't like, though killies are among the very favorites. He is involved in a number of Chicago area clubs, especially the Chicago Killifish Association. He is also active in the American Killifish Association, the American Livebearer Association, and the North American Native Fishes Association. |

Club Picnic: at the home of Jim Sternburg. See the map in the newsletter. There is very little parking in Jim's driveway and no street parking on Florida Avenue, so please park on Pleasant Street, just west of Jim's house. We will eat at 6:30 pm, but you my arrive as early as 4:00 pm to visit with other CAFE members and to view Jim's ponds and tanks. The club will provide the main dish (chicken) and place settings. Please bring a dish to pass. It can be a covered dish, salad, or desert. Also, please bring your own lawn chairs.

Program: Holiday Party and Dinner. Please bring a dessert to share. Chicken, side dishes and beverages are provided. Don't forget to bring a white elephant gift (fish related, $10 or less) to put under the tree. The gift should be wrapped but not tagged. |
Directions: Going south on Mattis, turn left onto Broadmoor. At the first stop sign (Mayfair) take a right. Continue on Mayfair crossing Devonshire (next stop sign). At the first street past Devonshire (Coral Cove) take a right and we are at 1512, house with the propeller above the garage (toward the end of the cul-de sac). |
| General notes |
Doors open between 6:30- 6:45pm with the meeting to begin at 7pm. The building is locked but you can gain access through the door on the North side of the building. Some one will be there to let you in but you need to arrive before 7pm. Bring any fish-related items for the monthly auction, and fish, plants, or artwork for an informal "Bowl Show".
